【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesphotometricmethodsforthedeterminationofmanganese,afteroxidationwithsodiumperiodate,inrubbersandrubberlatices.Bothmethodscontainprovisionsforanalysisofchlorine-containingrubber.Clause3specifiesamethodforcompoundedorvulcanizedrubberswhichisnotaffectedbyheavyloadingsoffillerssuchassyntheticandnaturalsilicatesorcalciumcarbonatesinvariousforms,orbythepresenceofcompoundingingredientswhichformaninsolublephosphateundertheconditionsofthetest.Clause4specifiesamethodforrawandcompoundednaturalandsyntheticrubbersandlaticeswhichdonotcontainheavyloadings(morethanabout10%)ofinertsilicatefillersoranyingredientsuchastitaniumdioxidewhichundertheconditionsoftestwillformaninsolublephosphate.
