【摘要】:Thesetestmethodscoverproceduresforthedeterminationoftheflashpointbyasmallscaleclosedtester.Theproceduresmaybeusedtodeterminetheactualflashpointtemperatureofasampleorwhetheraproductwillorwillnotflashataspecifiedtemperature(flash/noflash).Whenusedinconjunctionwithanelectronicthermalflashdetector,thesetestmethodsarealsosuitableforflashpointtestsonfattyacidmethylesters(FAME).ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandardshouldbeusedtomeasureanddescribethepropertiesofmaterials,products,orassembliesinresponsetoheatandflameundercontrolledlaboratoryconditionsandshouldnotbeusedtodescribeorappraisethefirehazardorfireriskofmaterials,products,orassembliesunderactualfireconditions.However,resultsofthistestmaybeusedaselementsofafireriskassessmentwhichtakesintoaccountallofthefactorswhicharepertinenttoanassessmentofthefirehazardofaparticularenduseThisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Warningstatementsappearthroughout.SeealsotheMaterialSafetyDataSheetsfortheproductbeingtested.
