【摘要】:1.1Thisguidedescribestheapplicationofacousticremotesensingformeasuringatmosphericwindandturbulenceprofiles.Itincludesasummaryofthefundamentalsofatmosphericsounddetectionandranging(sodar),adescriptionofthemethodologyandequipmentusedforsodarapplications,factorstoconsiderduringsiteselectionandequipmentinstallation,andrecommendedproceduresforacquiringvalidandrelevantdata.1.2Thisguideappliesprincipallytopulsedmonostaticsodartechniquesasappliedtowindandturbulencemeasurementintheopenatmosphere,althoughmanyofthedefinitionsandprinciplesarealsoapplicabletobistaticconfigurations.Thisguideisnotdirectlyapplicabletoradio-acousticsoundingsystems(RASS),ortomographicmethods.
