【摘要】:ThisTechnicalReportprovidesgenericinformationonvortexsheddingflowmeters,includingaglossaryandasetofengineeringequationsusefulinspecifyingperformance.Itdescribesthetypicalconstructionofvortexsheddingflowmetersandidentifiestheneedforinspection,certification,andmaterialtraceability.Italsoprovidestechnicalinformationtoassisttheuserinselectingandapplyingvortexsheddingflowmeters,andprovidescalibrationguidance.Itexplainstherelevantterminologyanddescribestestprocedures,togetherwithalistofspecifications,applicationnotes,andequationswithwhichtodeterminetheexpectedperformancecharacteristics.ThisTechnicalReportdescribeshowthefrequencyofthevorticesisameasureofthefluidvelocity;howvolume,mass,andstandardvolumeflowratearedetermined;andhowthetotalfluidthathasflowedthroughthemeterinaspecifiedtimeintervalcanbemeasured.ThisTechnicalReportappliesonlytofull-boreflowmeters(notinsertiontypes)andappliesonlytofluidflowthatissteadyorvariesonlyslowlywithtime,andisconsideredtobesingle-phased,withtheclosedconduitrunningfull.
